2005-2012
- 2005: The grandson of Mr Loo, Mr Chan Soo Sen, Minister of State for Education, officially opened the Loo Kian Cheang Library on 2 July.
- 2006: Associate Koo Tsai Kee, Minister of State for Defence and MP for Tanjong Pagar GRC, offically opened the school at 51 Jalan Membina on 8 July.
- 2008: The school was awarded the Community in Bloom Platinum Award and the Best Community Garden Award for her efforts in creating a garden environment.
- 2010: The school was awarded Programme for School-Based Excellence (PSE) in Environmental Education with many of its physical spaces transformed into galleries, gardens and outdoor classrooms for learning.
- 2010: The school embarked on its first Overseas Learning Journey.
- 2010: Mdm Lee Yin Hui, the granddaughter-in-law of Mr Loo, joined the school’s SAC and is the current Chairperson (2021).
- 2012: Under PERI grading, new facilitiles such as Indoor Sports Hall, Indoor Basketball Court and Special Rooms were added.
